Pabon began making his mark on the Urban apparel marketplace in the early ‘90s, employing innovative and unprecedented cross-marketing and co-branding campaigns to launch and catapult to success two of the industry’s most notable urban sportswear lines: Mecca USA Clothing and ENYCE Clothing, impacting sales to the tune of $20 million and $30 million, respectively. Using urban pop culture icons, athletes and other celebrities to promote brand awareness through high-visibility product placement was the catalyst Pabon injected into the urbanwear marketplace, defining a new marketing paradigm for the industry in the process.
