Growing up in the 90s, if i wanted to watch cable tv I was limited to x amount of channels. I truly had to make do with what I had. But now the possibilities are endless. Cable tv now provides you with thousands of channels and even that seems to not be enough. If thats not enough we now have countless services to watch any type of show or movie. I work 6-7 days a week running a funeral home. The nature of the business paired with it being your own small business can be highly stressful. Nothing is more sacred to me than being able to unwind and watch some tv. I am a true lover of the television. I have so many shows over various genres and networks that I follow religiously. My favorite subjects back in school were Literature/History and Technology. Both these subjects really allow one to express in written form ideas that can turn something considered rather small into something big. Problems. They seem to be everywhere. From personal to business it permeates all our lives. The Buddha posited, that "all human activity eventually ends in suffering." All the great self-authors of our day would tell you that problems can't all be eliminated, but they can certainly be managed. In a sea of activity from work, appointments, to the daily stresses of our lives, one thing is most absolutely certain, we as humans love to be entertained.
